The challenge

To gain valuable insight into the global maritime sector in order to strengthen the organisation’s reputation and provide business leads for commercial partners and venues.  

The solution

The research process as well as working with venue partners has led to an improvement in our venue finding pages on our website.  Visit Greenwich is now aiming to set up a new Conference Bidding Unit and has created a proposal for 5 local business partners.

The outcome

This new insight has been achieved and is providing an improvement to the service we provide through our business tourism function. The intern and team have an improved knowledge and understanding of the conference sector and how to take this forward for bidding for events.
