Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network are running three events across East Anglia between 24th and 26th April to explore the benefits and applications of 3D printing/Additive Manufacturing. Additive manufacturing/3D printing, produces 3-dimensional objects by layering materials such as metals, composites and polymers, rather than machining parts from blocks of raw material. The process provides a great deal of scope for innovative businesses to prototype and manufacture bespoke items and is utilised across a huge range of business sectors, from medical devices to creative design. The events will include demonstrations and exercises to explore the huge range of applications of 3D printing and how businesses can access assistance and expertise to fully utilise this innovative technology.
The KEEP+ team and delivery partners will be in attendance at these events, so why not talk to us about grant funding opportunities. If you have an innovative new product or service under development and are in need of 3D printing expertise or equipment you may be eligible for and ERDF grant!
The KTN’s Additive Manufacturing Special Interest Group is hosting three events in partnership with New Anglia Growth Hub at the following venues. The events are free to attend, but spaces are limited, so book now to avoid missing out:
